Beautiful, handmade, midnight purple vintage Afghan dress in lush purple with gold floral beaded trim.

I'm told this is a traditional Chindara dress although we've been unable to find much else under that name so perhaps better described as a Kuchi dress, albeit one without the embroidery on the chest

What we do have is wide gold flower shapes in gold embroidery to neck line, waist, cuffs and hem all attached to a heavy, deep, deep purple velvet fabric with generous sleeves and a very full skirt 

A super flattering shape in a larger size, approx. 14-18, this dress is easy to wear whilst the fabric, colour and trim make the look exceptionally glamorous .

Some wear - the gold trim seems to be glued on rather than sewn and both sleeves have small signs of drops going astray, also there's a small hole to the back of one shoulder. All pictured.
